Travel Information

Reaching Granada:

Granada has a small airport with limited international connections (London, Manchester, Berlin, Paris, Milan, Naples (see wikipedia)). There are frequent connections to Madrid and Barcelona. From the Granada airport there is a bus connection with several stops in the city or alternatively taxis are available. It takes 15 min to reach the town by taxi and approximately 30 min by bus.

The closest larger international airport is Malaga There are direct buses from the airport to Granada or more frequently from the bus station in Malaga. It takes approximately 2 h to reach Granada. The company operating those buses is Alsa.

The meeting will take place in the Salon de Grados at the Faculty of Sciences, in the center of Granada. The faculty is easily accessible by public transport (parking in the area is quite difficult and/or payed) using the metro (stop Universidad) or buses

La chumbera: very nice terrace with amazing views. Located in Sacromonte.

Las Tomasas: below the famous San Nicolas belvedere. Very nice views.

Jardines de Zoraya: by San Nicolas, it includes flamenco shows.

El trillo: nice walk

Asador de castilla: fancy, high quality, not cheap.

Chikito: well-known, fancy
